Terms of Use
1. Parties and scope
These terms govern your use of the Quitmo Android app (the "App"), provided by Kariha Web Agency (sole proprietorship; tax no. 71851050704, Fethiye; Taşyaka Mah. 218/21 Sk. No:40, 48303 Fethiye / Muğla, Türkiye; privacy@kariha.net). By continuing to use the App you accept these terms. How your personal data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
2. What Quitmo does and doesn't do
Quitmo is a companion that motivates and tracks your progress while quitting smoking: it shows your smoke-free time, money saved and health gains, gives rewards, and offers exercises and support lines for difficult moments.
Health timelines and estimates are based on averages from scientific sources and may differ from person to person.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
4. Account
You can use the App without an account. If you wish, you can sign in with Google to back up your data. You are responsible for the security of your Google account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy and data → Delete my account.
5. Free version and Premium
Smoke-free time, money and cigarette counters, health information, crisis help and support lines are always free. Some extra features (e.g. life and time regained counters, detailed insights, all articles and rewards) require a Premium subscription or one-time purchase.
- Purchases are made through Google Play and are also subject to Google Play's terms. Current prices are shown on the purchase screen in your local currency.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; renewal is charged to your Google Play account.
- For plans with a free trial, you won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends; otherwise the subscription fee is charged when it ends.
- Manage and cancel in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
6. Acceptable use
Use the App only for personal and lawful purposes. Do not reverse engineer it, try to bypass its security, abuse the purchase system or try to access other people's data.
Forum. The forum is for adults (18+). You are responsible for what you write: be kind, do not share your or anyone's personal details (phone, address, email, links), do not give medical advice, and do not post harassment, hate, spam or content encouraging self-harm. Quitmo filters and reviews content; it may hide messages that break the rules and may suspend or permanently close a membership. You can report any message or nick and block members. You give Quitmo a free, unlimited licence to show your messages in the forum and to moderate them; if you delete your account, your messages remain without identity. In a crisis, use the app's Crisis help instead of the forum.
7. Intellectual property
The Quitmo name, mascot, design, texts and software belong to Kariha Web Agency or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the App. Open source components are subject to their own licences (Settings → Open source licences). You may share the reward and level cards the App creates for personal use.
8. Availability
We may change, add or remove features to improve the App. If we remove a paid feature, we will give active subscribers reasonable notice. We cannot guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, so we recommend backing up your data.
9. Liability
Except for intent, gross negligence and cases where liability cannot be limited by law, Kariha Web Agency is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the App. This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the App afterwards means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can stop using the App and delete your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer you may apply to the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts where you live. If you live in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country also apply.
